Today's LA Times ran a great article by Kathy M. Kristof- Shortcuts and other smart advice for filling out federal student aid form. As I mentioned in an earlier post this should be done as soon after Jan 1st as possible and Kathy says "You may think you're too wealthy to get financial aid and filling out the so-called Free Application for Federal Student Aid is too much of a hassle under those circumstances. Do it anyway." I spent New Year's day getting mine submitted. I will update it next month when our final tax return is complete. It is free and can only help.
